Eesti Energia AS is a company in the electricity market. The main functions are:
- Transmitting electricity at voltages of 6-330 kV to distribution networks and large customers in Estonia
- Developing and operating a 110-330 kV electrical network covering all Estonia
- Ensuring reliability of Estonia's elecrical system in cooperation with neighbouring electrical systems
Eesti Energia's mission is to provide reliable network connections at low prices to electricity producers, distribution networks and corporate consumers, and to do so in a professional and customer oriented manner.
In 2004 Eesti Energia AS decided to replace its old mosaic walls in the central control room in Talllinn, as well as in the back up control room by modern rear projection display walls. Barco Control Rooms division was chosen as supplier due to the best price/performance ratio.
