BARCO Introduces a 10.4 inch Multi-Purpose Rugged AMLCD Terminal
ANAHEIM, CALIFORNIA, October 7, 1997 -- BARCO Display Systems introduces a 10.4 inch multi-purpose rugged color AMLCD terminal at the ISA’97 exhibition, Anaheim, California, October 7-9, 1997. BARCO’s new MPRT 126 is a light-weight AMLCD incorporating either a 486 or Pentium microprocessor and meets harsh environmental requirements such as those encountered in aerospace, shipboard, mobile, shelter or process control applications.
The new BARCO MPRT 126 panel, with built-in PC capabilities, has resolutions of 640 x 480 or 800 x 600 and can display a wide range of colors. The MPRT 126 can also optionally provide soft keys around the bezel, programmable audible alarm tones, touch screen and a solid state flash disk for customized applications and features a variety of interfaces including, keyboard, mouse, RS-232, Ethernet and a PCMCIA.The compact MPRT 126 was specially designed to withstand severe environmental conditions, such as extreme humidity, temperature, shock and vibration to comply to a wide range of application requirements and budget constraints while still maintaining the highly recognized BARCO display quality standards.
