The digital mixing functionality incorporated in the MRFD results in a total, low-cost solution for image overlay and mixing, with no need for separate video mixing cards to be installed at the host computer. The Display Modules present camera images, radar data and graphics. They are completely enclosed and have front filters bonded to the LCD for improved optical performance, superior ruggedization and elimination of humidity concerns. In addition, they can also be equipped with Barco’s unique patented LCD Flicker Compensation Solution.Display Module and Display Control Module are connected via a single cable, the BARCO Intermodule Link. To provide a single LRU installation, the Display Control Module can also be attached to the Display Module.
