Barco receives 2007 Boeing Performance Excellence Award
DULUTH, GA, USA, 4 April 2008 - Barco announced today that its North American avionics division has been awarded the 2007 Performance Excellence Award by The Boeing Company. With the award, Boeing’s Advanced System Supplier Management team recognizes Barco for meeting the stringent criteria for Gold level suppliers for a period of 12 consecutive months.
Avionics specialist Barco has been a long-standing provider of advanced Standby Flight Displays for Boeing’s V-22 Osprey tiltrotor aircraft. To this day, over 120 displays have been integrated into the flight decks of the V-22s operated by the US Marine Corps and the US Air Force.“Performance excellence is imperative to the success of our companies.
