Barco's CIT is a multi-functional, all-in-one Cockpit Information Terminal solution for Class III Electronic Flight-Bag (EFB) applications.
The powerful, user-friendly CIT brings enhanced efficiency and allows for a truly paperless cockpit environment. With CIT, pilots can access a multitude of information sources, such as system status information, weather data, maps, charts, manuals, checklists, etc.
The CIT combines a bright 12 inch LCD display with an easy-to-use desk. Thanks to its high-bright LCD, the terminal offers excellent readability in all ambient light conditions.
The user-friendly CIT runs a Windows XP or Linux environment and is connected to the aircraft network server system through an Ethernet interface.
Furthermore, the CIT features an ergonomic operator desk, including custom-made keyboard and Cursor Control Device. Both the advanced LCD technology and high-end integrated COTS computing power comply with the most stringent cockpit environmental requirements.
