Barco was selected by Kongsberg Defence and Aerospace to deliver RFD-251 Rugged Flat Displays for the NASAMS and HAWK air defense programs.
The 20-inch RFD-251 displays support operational decision making in the ground based command and control shelters. Kongsberg especially valued the display's rack-mountable architecture and its custom-made touch screen functionality, tailored to the needs of this specific application. Furthermore, the RFD-251 displays feature a protective HumiSeal coating, ensuring enhanced protection of the internal electronics against severe environmental conditions.
