Barco wins Producción Profesional & Producción Audio awards
At the opening of the Broadcast 2009 exhibition in Madrid, Spain, Barco was awarded with a Producción Profesional and a Producción Audio award.
Barco won the Producción Profesional Award for its NSL-4601 professional grade, narrow-bezel 46" LCD display with WXGA resolution. The NSL-4601 has been designed for tiled video wall applications in small to medium-sized control rooms.
Barco also won a Producción Audio Award for its transformable LED screen used for rock band U2’s 360° tour. With its 360° shape, the LED screen surrounds the band while performing. It is able to change shape in all directions during the concert.
Producción Profesional is the most important magazine for the broadcast industry in Spain, Portugal and Latin America, while Producción Audio is focusing on video, lighting and sound solutions for the events market in the same region.
