Customized notification and reporting
Thanks to Medical Administrator's customized notification and reporting system, technicians are automatically notified via e-mail, cell phone or SNMP, whenever one of the display systems performs below standards. Through a user-friendly web interface, they have access to the consistency data of all displays installed in the facility and know what priority should be given to the maintenance of a certain display system.
Intervention from remote location
A unique bi-directional client/server design allows administrators to access all medical display systems from a remote location and set up the proactive checkups to the standards adopted in their medical facility or country. As a result, QA interventions can be performed at all times without disturbing radiology activities. Also, Barco's MediCal Administrator fully supports PDA devices.
Fleet management functionality
Via the web interface, accessible from any client or even PDA, users have access to all the information of the installed display base. Users can request information about the display systems and the QA tasks performed, along with a status overview of the display base in the medical facility. Furthermore, Medical Administrator allows QA administrators to plan future replacements pro-actively, thanks to the automated warning functionality which generates a warning message whenever a display approaches end of life.
QA Data gathering
Medical Administrator stores the consistency data of every single display system (based on the QA check of the Medical Pro software) in a central database and makes it available for future consultation. QA administrators can also export all their QA data reports to familiar formats, such as Excel and PDF. This allows IT professionals to edit their QA reports more easily and to smoothly exchange QA status information among the radiology department.
