Barco Display Solutions Dazzle Fans at Jacksonville Veterans Memorial Arena
April 8, 2004 - Logan, UT - Barco, a world leader in large-scale visual imaging solutions, announced it has completed its installation of LED video displays and scoreboard solutions for the Jacksonville Veterans Memorial Arena, in Jacksonville, FL. In addition to entertaining spectators with brilliant live video images and graphics, the Barco display solutions offer the arena’s advertisers an exciting vehicle to deliver their advertising and promotional messages.
The new arena, host to professional and NCAA sporting events, and a variety of concerts, family shows, and religious events, is equipped with a custom-designed, four-sided, center-hung video and scoreboard system. The state-of-the-art system contains four Barco ILite 12 full-color indoor LED video screens and four RGB LED matrix displays. The video displays will be used for stunning live image magnification, replays, and graphics during events held at the arena. The four Barco RGB LED matrix displays will be used for advertisements and messaging. In addition, Barco provided two 100’ RGB LED fascia ribbon displays, three shot clocks, and four locker room clocks for sporting events.
