At the University of Texas over two million, full-color LED’s will illuminate the basketball arena. The center-hung video and scoreboard system will be used for live video footage and instant replays during the Texas Longhorns’ basketball games and other events held at the arena. In addition, Barco will also supply an LED display that will be located on the exterior of the arena facing Red River Street for arena publicity.
“We wanted to provide Longhorn fans with the best products on the market to enhance their sports experience,” states Douglas Messer, Assistant Athletic Director, University of Texas, Austin.
