Case study
Alice In Chains used Barco's Cyberlight 2.0, DL.3, SHOWBEAM 2.5, SHOWGUN 2.5, and Studio Command fixtures with control via a Wholehog 3 console and DMX Processor 8000 for their world tour starting in 2010. Alice In Chains' lighting designer chose Barco's Cyberlight 2.0 because of its versatility and usability. The fixture's configuration meant easier installation and more room on stage for other effects like video projection. The DL.3, SHOWBEAM 2.5, and SHOWGUN 2.5 were used to enhance the show's lighting effects while the Wholehog 3 console featuring the DMX Processor 8000 provided the power. By providing both standard XLR and Art-Net output at a steady rate, the computing power and possibilities for lighting design are truly endless with the DMX Processor 8000 and the Wholehog 3 console.
