The BarcoMed® 5MP1H, displaying resolutions up to 2048 x 2560, is designed for medical imaging applications that require high resolution grayscale graphics and exceptional video quality.

In contrast to the so-called 10-bit DACs which actually produce only 256 shades of gray, the 5MP1H can display all 1024 shades simultaneously. The 5MP1H stores the complete 12-bit image on board, allowing for real-time window and level operations at 72Hz, without overloading the host computer. The BarcoMed® 5MP1H operates under Windows NT, Windows 2000 and Windows XP.

The BarcoMed® 5MP1H is part of the MeDis® 5MP display system.
