To make sure you are using our products with the best efficiency, Barco offers a series of Service Levels that can either be purchased with your display or requested as an option in case a failure should occur.
MediCal QAWeb 'Essential'
The standard service level included in the purchase of your Barco Medical display. This service level covers the repair of your monitor in case of failure, offers you technical support, free of charge QA software including asset management of your entire display fleet and basic reporting tools. All of this during the entire warranty period of your display.
MediCal QAWeb 'Premium'
This service level provides you with all the benefits of the Essential level but also includes a permanent replacement display (color matched) or graphics board in case of failure. When choosing ‘Premium’, you can also enjoy the full potential of our QA software tools, including full reporting capabilities, extended remote support, additional QA tests, etc.
MediCal QAWeb 'Premium' software
All the benefits of the MediCal QAWeb ‘Premium’ level except for the availability of a permanent replacement display (color-matched) or graphics board. Enjoy the full potential of our QA software for your displays to guarantee an efficient use of your entire medical displays fleet.
Express Repair Option
In diagnostic reading environments, downtime has to be reduced to an absolute minimum. To assure that your medical displays are up and running again as soon as possible, Barco offers an Express Repair service. Customers who opt for this service are promised a premium priority repair within five business days.
If you have purchased the Extended Warranty Plus package with your displays, then this option is automatically included for the repair of your units.
Loaner Unit Option
To further reduce downtime, Barco offers you a loaner display or a replacement graphics card in case of a technical failure. Various delivery options, including express door-to-door delivery of the loaner unit, can be arranged.
If you have purchased the Extended Warranty Plus package with your displays, then this option is automatically included for the repair of your units.
Standard Warranty Extension
Currently Barco diagnostic displays include a 5-year warranty period (including backlights) to ensure long-term confidence.
For units purchased before January 1st 2008, featuring a standard warranty period of 3 years, Barco offers the possibility to extend the warranty period to up to 5 years.
This extension covers the complete repair in case of failures and also the shipment to a destination of your choice.
Extended Warranty Plus Extension
On Barco Medical Displays, purchased with an Extended Warranty Plus contract of 3 or 4 years, Barco offers the possibility to extend your contract to a total Extended Warranty Plus period of 5 years.
This extension provides you with the same level of service as the previous years including the express repair option, instant availability of a display loaner unit and a permanent replacement of the graphics controller.
