Hermes DxD is the flexible 2 by 2 switching component for Barco’s DVI based display walls and wall controllers.
Redundancy
Connect two identical controllers to one display wall. If one system fails, the display units can be switched to the image provided by the second stand-by controller.
Split display
There are two outputs to open the possibility to show the image of one controller on two display walls simultaneously and digital, without any loss in signal quality.
Compatibility
With a rich set of available adapters and cables also Barco’s PanellinkTM based predecessors of the current DVI based projectors can be interfaced..The RS232 control interface is downwards compatible to Hermes D2D.
Flexibility
Hermes DxD can also be used as a 2 line DVI-D repeater or for swapping the image of two controllers between two display walls. In cascaded configurations even more configurations can be imagined.
