The OPAL software brings a simple way of managing integrated security control centers within large organizations.

Typical application areas are the chemical industry, airports or transportation enterprises.

OPAL supports the control room operators in supervising danger signalling systems, recognizing incidents and leading operations with an intuitive user interface.

It generates situation specific action lists, which assist the operations team to take the right actions for problem solving.

System overview
OPAL consists of a highly available data management server, an unlimited number of operator workstations and optional visual display.
It can be easily integrated to the subsystems for danger signalling already in place, e.g. fire and extrusion alarms, facility controlling, video observation, communication and self-sufficient process control systems for supervision and control.

OPAL supports the operators in the control center
• receive and visualize events from all subsystems
• provide fast event related information (sketch plans, process displays, datasheets, ...)
• generate situation specific action lists
• instruct actions to controlling the systems, partly automatically
• schedule task forces and equipment based onrules and status information
• continuously record the operation process
