Barco's portfolio of LED video walls combine the benefits of LEDs to create the images with Barco's unique liquid cooling technology. In this way, Barco tackled some of the biggest issues in video wall design today, allowing these video walls to be used in 24/7 critical applications. Solving overheating of LEDs, color imbalance, and screen size restrictions, these video walls now have the coolest engine, the warmest colors and the brightest display in the market.
By introducing 3rd generation LEDs, Barco's LED video walls now produce 33% extra brightness, making them the brightest on the market today. What's more, when operating at today's standard brightness levels, the LEDs consume 33% less power.
Warmest colors
Brightness and color characteristics of LEDs can change due to aging, changing temperatures or higher drive current. Barco's unique Sense6 technology reduces these effects by constantly measuring brightness and color output, and correcting changes in real time.
Coolest engine
Barco introduces liquid cooling to video walls, doubling the lifetime of the LEDs. Liquid cooling does not need many heavy fans to drive heat away from the LED source, resulting in less disturbing control room noise.
Smallest footprint
With Barco's OL line in particular, offering a depth of only 45 centimeters and front accessibility, more compact control room design is possible. But also the ecological footprint is minimal, as the OL series is manufactured with recyclable materials and produces less waste.
Now also in stereoscopic 3D
To respond to the growing demand for cost-effective video walls with 3D-stereo capabilities, Barco has created the 3D-capable OLS(F) series. This brand-new product range builds upon the proven benefits of the OL family and adds vivid stereoscopy to the long list of differentiators.
