Barco's PVM-118 display system has been specifically designed for observation on board rugged vehicles. The PVM-118 (Panel Video Module) is a 7” flat panel display with a 854 x 480 SVGA LCD and a 16:9 aspect ratio.
The display system offers superior optical quality and video processing for contrast sensitive monochrome and color imaging. The PVM-118 can also be used in 4:3 aspect ratio through image scaling and features image mirroring for use in rear view applications. Designed to meet MIL-standards, the PVM-118 is equipped with an internal diagnostic system to handle extreme temperature conditions and to avoid damage to the system in case of unexpected or extreme conditions. The PVM-118’s front bonded optical stack keeps the display condensation-free and provides optimum optical performance at all times.
