The CHDD-254 is an advanced, 5 x 4 inch avionics display that accepts both digital video inputs (DVI) and most of the currently available analog video inputs (Composite, RGB, STANAG,...). It is fully compatible with Barco's PU-2000 Processing Unit.
High brightness, excellent contrast
Equipped with the latest, sunlight-readable Active Matrix Liquid Crystal Displays technology, the CHDD-254 provides exceptionally high brightness and excellent contrast. The use of advanced electronics allows for a very compact footprint (maximum 4.5” depth) and low power consumption.
The innovative CHDD-254 unit is DO-178B and DO-254 certified up to level B. Because of this, the display can be used as Primary Flight Display (in combination with an external symbol generator like the PU-2000) in almost any type of aircraft.
