The Galaxy Series are available in a single or dual display configuration and can drive displays with different resolutions. Barco's Galaxy Series are designed to radically alter the price / performance ratio of high performance graphics workstations. The galaxy takes advantage of the latest microprocessor technology to provide the user with maximum X-Windows and Windows performance at the lowest proce. The Galaxy workstation is designed to support standard X-Windows applications or Windows NT applications. Barco utilizes the Solaris Operating System for UNIX applications.
