Hermes DxD is a flexible 2 by 2 switching component for Barco’s DVI based display walls and wall controllers.
Redundancy
With the Hermes DxD, you can connect two identical controllers to one display wall. If one system fails, the display units can be switched to the image provided by the second stand-by controller.
Split display
Thanks to the two outputs, the image of one controller can be digitally shown on two display walls, without any loss in signal quality.
Compatibility
With a rich set of available adapters and cables, Barco’s PanellinkTM based predecessors of the current DVI based projectors can be interfaced. The RS232 control interface is downwards compatible to Hermes D2D.
Flexibility
Hermes DxD can also be used as a 2 line DVI-D repeater or for swapping the image of two controllers between two display walls. In cascaded configurations even more configurations are possible.
