The COTS approach of the Vista 2000 combines Barco''s unique manufacturing capabilities, ruggedization expertise and customer support into a total visualization solution.
The Vista 2000 integrates Barco's key components (rugged LCD displays and graphics controllers) into an ergonomically designed rugged chassis. This chassis functions as a cocoon and protects the electronics from severe environmental conditions: it absorbs shocks and vibrations and constantly controls the temperature inside.
The standard, modular hardware approach of the Vista 2000 console enables system integrators to realize economies of scale, reduce the development cycle and use industry standard software. System integrators can benefit from the expertise of a market leader in rugged visualization products and fully concentrate on bringing value added to their customers.
The Vista 2000 console has been designed and built in Barco's tradition of stringent design, extensive configuration control, severe environmental testing and fully controlled production process.
