xRACU™: the most flexible projector control system available
The Barco xRACU consists of a master control unit and a remote touch screen, allowing you to control up to 12 Barco projectors and 12 Laser Diode Array Tools. Optional support for up to 32 projectors.
The master control unit
• Windows®-based PC with keyboard, mouse and monitor
• Stores, processes and downloads projector alignment data: geometry, color, brightness, Time of Day Modes (day mode, night mode, ...)
• Uses touch screen control panel to view and interact with xRACU
• Works as an interfaces between the IG and projector software, as required
• Interfaces with the projector diagnostic reporting software
The xRACU™ software controls the operation, calibration, configuration and diagnosis of Barco projectors. This software runs on a standard PC equipped with Microsoft Windows® operating systems.
The remote touch screen
The remote touch screen is a hand-held unit that lets you interact with the projection system. It is equipped with a full-color, LCD panel with 800 x 600 pixel resolution; two digital joysticks; on/off switch; dimmer; and beeper for audio feedback.
The software sends and receives data to and from the projectors using one or more
RS-422 serial channels with a configurable data rate.
