Case study
Barco has delivered MFD-5.4 multi function displays to Eurocopter for the Super Puma MK1 Engine Instrument system.
The MFD-5.4 consists of a high quality full sunlight-readable color AMLCD flat panel with optional Night Vision Imaging System (NVIS B), and a multi-function keyboard.
Aboard the Super Puma, the MFD-5.4 displays Engine Oil Temp & Pressure, Fuel Quantities, Hydraulic Pressure, Turbine Speeds, Gear Box Pressure & Temp and Torque. In addition, the display can be driven by the external computer via a 739 protocol to display text information.
