Case study

As one of the world's most famous museums, the British Museum is currently running a series of exhibitions focusing on historic world leaders which started in 2007 and will continue until 2010 including: The First Emperor: China's Terracotta Army and Hadrian: Empire and Conflict.

For the exhibition Shah 'Abbas: The Remaking of Iran which focuses on the 17th Century ruler of the Safavid Dynasty, the British Museum used Barco projection technology to facilitate a central section of the exhibition designed to give visitors a sense of the beautiful architectural legacy of Shah 'Abbas. Five compact, native HD projectors drive an impressive array of screens that continuously feature high-resolution footage. The single-chip DLP Barco projectors ensure 24/7 reliability through their sealed optical engine, and their saturated color quality makes the projected content as engrossing as possible.
