Since 1993, STAR Channel has been entertaining and informing the Greeks with much-appreciated children's programs, series, movies and information shows. With TV playing a key part in the life of the average Greek, the broadcaster boasts an ever-growing audience. STAR Channel's relocation to a new building in 2008 was a must to keep providing these viewers with the best possible quality and services.
With that relocation came the adoption of Barco's brand-new Networked Broadcast Monitoring System (NMBS), set up by Telmaco, STAR Channel's trusted technology partner. The TV station is impressed by the advanced features of NBMS, including facility-wide access to real-time content, source presentation on both LCD displays and PCs, and unlimited scalability.
