Barco Simulation announces Paul Lyon as International Manager of Display System Products
Xenia, OH – Barco Simulation is pleased to announce Paul Lyon is now International Manager of Display System Products. One of Paul’s new key roles is to help further establish Barco Simulation as a complete display systems provider.
“Paul has been an exceptional asset to our Market Development team. He has brought a wealth of knowledge to our simulation division,” says Steve McCullough, Vice President and General Manager of Barco Simulation. “His new position as International Manager will enable Barco Simulation to reach new markets and better interface with both new and existing customers.”“I really enjoy spending time with our customers around the world and helping them solve difficult display problems,” says Paul. “Barco Simulation is involved in many new innovations that will enable our customers to accomplish their research and training goals, and I am pleased to be a part of it.”
Paul has over 26 years experience in the Training and Simulation business, as well as extensive domestic/international experience interacting with key customers and identifying strategic avenues that have strengthened new and continuing business initiatives. Paul’s expertise is in new business development and maintaining customer relationships.
He has hosted technical symposiums in both the United States and Europe. These symposiums were innovative marketing tools to improve customer communications and educate about the company’s strong product breadth and technical capabilities. Paul is also recognized as a visual system expert in the defense industry, and he presented a course called “Fundamentals of Visual Systems Technology” to customers and educators throughout the world.
Paul will develop new products for Barco Simulation to meet the current and emerging needs of the markets and become a more complete display systems provider. He will also participate in the definition and formation of strategic alliances with other companies to further strengthen Barco Simulation’s position in the display system markets. In addition, Paul will help define new products and validate new product decisions as well as participate in marketing seminars, industry conferences, tutorials, and relevant organizations to promote Barco Simulation’s display systems expertise and commitment to the display systems markets. Paul’s expertise will also play a key role in training Barco Simulation engineering and sales teams to be more effective in designing, marketing, and displaying systems.
