BARCO Simulation Extends Family of High-Brightness DLP Projection Technology
The new BARCO Galaxy sets new standards for Immersive Display market
Xenia, OH- August 13, 2001 - BARCO Simulation has extended its multi-channel, immersive projection product range with the DLP based Barco Galaxy projector. The Barco Galaxy features SXGA high-resolution digital micro-mirror technology and an extremely powerful optical system driven by a 1200 watt Xenon lamp to deliver high quality images with an amazing 5,000 ANSI lumens. In addition, the Barco Galaxy features active and passive stereo capability and is designed to excel at multi-channel applications.
Other Barco equipment to be presented at Siggraph 2001 include new high-performance MICA (Mini CADWall), the new 908 Motorized Baron, and the transportable BR Center. Barco is located in booth number 1035 at the Siggraph Trade Show.
