Toyota advanced driving simulator
Case study
Barco delivered Barco SIM6 UltraII x 8 units for Toyota’s advanced driving simulator through our system integrator, Mitsubishi Precision Co., Ltd. This simulator is used for analysis of driving characteristic, development for active safety technology and evaluation of efficiency of active safety technology.
Barco’s projectors help visualizing real world for the driver so that driver can feel he is driving real car.
Real model car is in the dome and this dome can move between 35m long to 20m wide and can tilt max 25 degree for get real drive circumstance.
Barco SIM6 UltraII has native UXGA(1600 x 1200) resolution and this high resolution meets the demands of the customer. Barco SIM6 UltraII is designed to be used on the motion base. This is also the reason why this projector is delivered for this simulator.
