Brazil's largest hospital opts for Barco PACS displays

KORTRIJK, Belgium, 27 May 2008 – Medical imaging company Barco has won a significant contract to supply high-grade PACS display systems to the ‘Hospital das Clínicas da Faculdade de Medicina da Universidade de São Paulo', the largest hospital in Brazil. The new systems will be installed in the hospital's reporting rooms and will be deployed to replace the existing film-based radiology workflow. Delivery and installation will be carried out by Macsym Tecnologia Eletronica, Ltda, Barco's local partner in Brazil.
