Collaboration made easy, as shown at Laval Virtual

Barco France and Immersion, Barco’s very first partner in the field of virtual reality, looks back on its very first joint initiative with satisfaction. Many visitors to the 15th edition of Laval Virtual dropped by their shared booth to discover innovative solutions for VR and simulation. ‘Collaboration’ was the leitmotif running through all the Barco/Immersion solutions on display.

 

Over 4,500 professionals and 10,000 individuals visited the Laval Virtual conference and exhibition on Virtual Reality and Converging Technologies, from 20 to 24 March last. At the Barco/Immersion booth, they witnessed the exceptional image quality of Barco’s 2x2 OLS-721 full HD LED video wall with 3D inside, powered by the TransForm XDS-400 video processor. Designed to make collaborative teamwork with 3D stereo easier, faster and more efficient, the TransForm XDS-400 allows customers to display several sources at the same time. In this way, users can quickly see correlations between data, or process various types of information faster.

Fostering collaboration is also one of the main objectives of the ClickShare meeting-room system and of the two innovative Immersion products on display: the Cubtiiile 3D multitouch device and the new Meetiiim collaborative, multi-touch meeting table.
