Barco and Hologic partner to deliver women's imaging workshops at RSNA

Barco is teaming up with Hologic Technologies to present a series of mammography self-assessment and hands-on digital breast tomosynthesis workshops during the Radiological Society of North America (RSNA) meeting at McCormick Place in Chicago, November 27-December 2, 2010. US Air Force uses SIM 7 solutions for mid-flight refueling trainers

Barco and CymSTAR - a leading military engineering solutions company - have teamed up to provide the US Air Force with simulation systems to train operators in aerial refueling techniques using the Air Mobility Comman's Boom Operator Weapons Systems Trainers (BOWST).  Barco is supplying five SIM 7QP projectors per trainer, featuring ultra-high QXGA (1536x2048) resolution to display computer-generating imagery representing the various flight conditions, surrounding environment, and the critical operation of the boom nozzle into the target receptable.

New software bundle for ScreenPRO-II expands DVI options

Barco has just released a new software bundle to enable the ScreenPRO-II with EOC to utilize input DVI sources as background or PIP sources. ScreenPRO-II can also be operated with a DVI matrix router, further increasing the number of DVI sources available to the system.

Barco video wall improves safety of Brazilian highways

“Lights of Liberty” show unveiled in Historic Philadelphia, USA

Visitors of a new attraction in historic Philadelphia can travel back in time with the country’s founding fathers to learn about US history in a new exhibit “Lights of Liberty,” which opened last month in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA. Digital radiology expert chooses Barco medical displays

With roots going back to 1895, the German BG Bergmannstrost in Halle, near Leipzig, is one of Europe's leading trauma centers. The German hospital is a pioneer in adopting digital acquisition modalities and PACS and is a Barco advocate ever since their first purchase in 2002. Recently, the radiology team decided to upgrade its existing Coronis display systems to include several color displays and MediCal QAWeb.
