The 68th International Motorcycle Show took place from 2 to 7 November 2010 in Milan, Italy. This year’s edition was the most successful one so far, counting over 500,000 visitors to admire the latest models.

Barco and CymSTAR - a leading military engineering solutions company - have teamed up to provide the US Air Force with simulation systems to train operators in aerial refueling techniques using the Air Mobility Comman's Boom Operator Weapons Systems Trainers (BOWST).  Barco is supplying five SIM 7QP projectors per trainer, featuring ultra-high QXGA (1536x2048) resolution to display computer-generating imagery representing the various flight conditions, surrounding environment, and the critical operation of the boom nozzle into the target receptable.

Barco has redefined the standard for video walls in terms of image quality and efficiency with the launch of its new line of LED-lit rear-projection video walls.

Barco has just released a new software bundle to enable the ScreenPRO-II with EOC to utilize input DVI sources as background or PIP sources. ScreenPRO-II can also be operated with a DVI matrix router, further increasing the number of DVI sources available to the system.

Continuing its industry leadership in the projected simulator display systems arena, Barco has shipped more than 1,000 SIM 7 series projectors, an important milestone which demonstrates Barco’s success and commitment in supplying the high-end simulation and training needs of flight, ship-bridge, and other users.

Visitors of a new attraction in historic Philadelphia can travel back in time with the country’s founding fathers to learn about US history in a new exhibit “Lights of Liberty,” which opened last month in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA. Created and designed by The David Niles Group, the show is the world’s first stereoscopic 3D, 360-degree visitor attraction to offer a fully immersive entertainment venue.
