Case study
Turner Entertainment Group, a division of Turner Broadcasting System, built a 198,000-square-foot broadcast facility at its Atlanta headquarters. The Network Operations Center comprising six floors is the new home for broadcast operations for all existing and future networks.
Turner Entertainment Network Operations Center in Atlanta, GA is the largest alldigital facility of its kind. The center provides a wide-range of 24-hour functional support activities for the Turner Broadcasting System, Inc.’s Entertainment Networks which includes TBS Superstation, WTBS-17, TNT East and West, Cartoon Network East and West, Turner Classic Movies, Boomerang, and Turner South, as well as nine Latin American networks.
Barco Control Rooms provided state-of-the-art digital control room display solutions for Turner Broadcasting’s newest operations facility. Fifty Barco iStudio display systems were installed in the Turner Entertainment Networks’ master control rooms for monitoring all network air functions.
