With a curve that can extend to 180°, Barco’s BR Center surrounds trainees with an illusion of reality. It can even be used in a double setup to create a full 360° experience of an air traffic control center or a ship bridge, with sharp, high-resolution images surrounding the users.
The BR Center achieves state-of-the-art image quality through its Barco projectors that are optimized for multi-channel integration with the following features:
• Edge blending takes care of the overlap zones where projections converge, so that one continuous image is generated without blurry seams.
• DynaColor ensures that each projector projects with the same color quality and intensity, to eliminate slight differences in color outputs between projectors.
• Linked constant light output (CLO) matches the projectors’ light outputs correctly with one another, which is ideal with projectors of different ages.
• Warping technology results in correctly proportioned images across irregular screens or curved displays.
Additionally, the BR Center is also available with 3D stereo capabilities, to guarantee an even greater degree of immersion and realism.
