Case study
Little Rock Air Force Base operates several C-130 Hercules Pilot Trainers. These simulators are wrap-around visual display systems that feature a computer-based Navigation and a Communication and Planning system (NAVCAP). The simulators also provide academic and simulator training for C-130 weapon system aircrews. Aligning the visual systems on these displays is a complicated and time-consuming process. Little Rock Air Force Base wanted to streamline this process. Officials chose the Barco AutoAlign system for four C-130 simulators. The AutoAlign system now quickly and easily aligns each trainer and provides multi-system control. The facility operates the Barco AutoAlign to control contrast and brightness, convergence, geometry, and focus across five Barco Genesis series projection systems.
