Shanghai Pudong International Airport
Case study
Barco display walls facilitate operation and security management
Shanghai Pudong International Airport Terminal 2 (T2) has been in operation since 26 March 2008. With the opening of the second terminal, the airport increased its total annual capacity to 60 million passengers and six million tons of air freight, making it one of busiest airports in the People's Republic of China.
To manage operational efficiency and overall security in a central, coordinated way, the airport installed a total of 82 Barco rear-projected display cubes in five different operational management centers.
