Bemis implement Barco Manufacturing Execution System incorporating RFID technology.

RPC Containers Ltd, manufacturers of a wide range of moulded containers for the DIY and food industries, turned to Barco when they recently replaced the production monitoring system at their Blackburn site. The factory processes about 5 million components a week on a 24-hour operation, 7 days a week.

Holloid Plastics, injection moulding specialists, have been an advocate of production monitoring since 1982 when they installed a Barco (Dextralog) FSX monitoring system. Since then they have continuously upgraded the system, latterly with the Barco PlantMaster  Windows-based Manufacturing Execution System (MES).

Wyeth Medica’s Newbridge site, forty miles south of Dublin, has introduced the Barco PlantMaster system to its packaging facility.
