Common-Operational-Picture and Shared Situational Awareness
Barco's solutions allow Command and Control operators in land-based tactical systems to share situational content with other shipboard, air-based and field-deployed systems or with Joint Operations Centres, thus further enhancing interactive collaboration. Typically, Barco’s solutions are used in Integrated Battlespace Centres because the enable interconnection of multiple display systems and allow insertion of situational variables in real time.

Barco’s solutions provide the Defence community with a network-centric visualization platform that integrates information from various different sensors and sources. At Eurosatory Barco Control Rooms division will demonstrate its high-resolution DLP rear-projection displays and LCD-panels for both large Collaborative Environments and Individual Workstations which are optimized for 24/7 mission-critical applications. The display controller series for intelligent information fusion feature unique archiving, redundancy, dynamic-adaptive bandwidth and content redistribution options. Barco’s display management software is ideally suited for Common-Operating-Picture and scenario building and content sharing, i.e. it enables shared situational awareness from the field up to the (central) command center. As visualization subsystems, Barco’s solutions can be fully integrated into Command and Control System of Systems concepts via Application Programming Interfaces (APIs).
