===Firmware for ClickShare Conference=== ===The main new ClickShare Conference features in this release are:===

  • Annotation and Blackboarding: co-create and ideate to boost your meeting collaboration.
  • Peripheral firmware update: update your Logitech Rally remotely.
  • Button Network Integration: integrate the ClickShare Conference Button into your own corporate network and assess the performance of both content sharing and wireless conferencing in your setup, with detailed information available in the network deployment guide.
  • Support for additional peripherals: find the ClickShare Conference validated peripherals on the Barco website.

===Next to the addition of features, a number of known issues from the earlier firmware version has been resolved:===

  • Base unit cannot reach Deep Standby when Logitech Rally peripheral is connected.
  • Some Aver peripherals are not reaching stand-by or are not detected after stand-by.
  • Peripheral shows active even when there is no active call.

===Not all issues could be resolved yet, these are the key ones that are remaining in this release:===

  • Button Manager currently does not work with the ClickShare Conference Buttons.
  • Adding device into XMS cloud can give a "unable to add device" error. Make sure the Base Unit is updated to FW 2.5 and reset to factory defaults to try again.
  • First time setup wizard can stay a few minutes on the 'checking for updates' and 'registration' page (in specific network configurations). Occasionally (e.g. time-out), an error page can pop-up to highlight the networking difficulties, however the onboarding wizard will continue automatically once the confirmation is passed-through.
  • BYOD Airplay unstable when streaming Youtube movies.
  • Unable to share with the ClickShare (conference) Button when Logi Sync software is installed on the PC: KB11514.
  • Rapidly pressing the mute button on the Jabra Speak devices can lead to the peripheral being out-of-sync with MS Teams.
  • Conferencing controls, including mute, are not working with specific Jabra Speak 510 versions.
  • The SmartCare information, e.g. to see if the device was registered correctly, can take about one day to be displayed correctly in the ClickShare Configurator.
  • The Logi Rally firmware installation functionality will push firmware version 1.1.256 to the Logi Rally, which is the ClickShare Conference supported version for this release.
  • For Base Units with US, ZH and NA country codes, UNII-3 channel 165 is not supported by the Button.

  • We highly recommend to always use a free 5GHz Wi-Fi channel to optimize the performance of Wireless Conferencing. These settings can be changed via the ClickShare Configurator.
  • Wireless client mode is supported however for Wireless Conferencing, a direct connection between the Button and the Base Unit is advised.
