Rancho Cordova, Ca., USA – 28 October 2014 – Barco, the global leader in digital cinema projection, in collaboration with Bardan Cinema, a full-service distributor and digital cinema integrator serving Latin America, have elevated the entertainment quality of Cineplanet’s 200+ movie theaters and are moving forward by outfitting numerous new theaters.

Cineplanet has proven itself to be one of the most enlightened and progressive players in the Latin American market, constantly dedicating themselves to enhancing the experience they provide their moviegoing clientele. Bardan Cinema has orchestrated all aspects of these deployments for Cineplanet.  Calling upon their half-century of experience in the cinema industry, they coordinated logistics and technical design for all sites across Cineplanet’s vast territory, ensuring both a smooth transition to digital and the highest caliber results in the region.

“I’m sure I speak for Barco as well as for us here at Bardan when I say that we deeply appreciate the opportunity to continue serving Cineplanet as they move so solidly into the next era of cinema,” comments Daniel Benitez, CTO for Bardan Cinema. “The coming years promise to be very exciting ones in the world of cinema and we are grateful to be working with such strong partners on both sides of the equation: reliable vendors like Barco and bold, motivated exhibitors like Cineplanet that are always looking to better serve their patrons.”
