Tips to troubleshoot error message "Unable to share No display detected"

This article helps you troubleshoot if an error message Unable to share No display detected appears on your laptop screen when sharing.


 

In addition to that, you will notice the following displayed on the screen connected to your ClickShare Base Unit. Please take the actions mentioned in the table below according to what is displayed.

  • Make sure that both the screen and the Base Unit are powered and switched ON
  • Make sure that the correct input source is set on the screen
  • Make sure that there is no cable disconnection  between the screen and the Base Unit

If required, contact your administrator to check the above issues

Barco logo
  • Try using  a high-quality replacement HDMI cable (short length and supporting up to 4K@60Hz)
  • Check if the same issue with visible when you connect another screen.
ClickShare wallpaper
  • Please pair your Button again, (how to: see KB 5924)
 

Note : If your ClickShare CS/CSE Base Unit has firmware version 1.9.0 or older installed, the following error message will appear on your laptop screen in case there is no cable connection between the Base Unit and the screen.
