When Sangsang Madang (meaning 'Grand Plaza of imagination'), a venture of government-controlled KT&G, opened its doors in September 2007 in Seoul (South Korea), it had every intention of becoming a multicultural hotbed. And indeed, with a theater, a concert hall, specialized design shops, galleries, an academy, studios, pubs and cafés, everything is in place to support artists and provide the public with enjoyable cultural events.

Under the Cinelab concept, for example, Sangsang Madang rents out its studio for the production or postproduction of movies. To further enhance its influence in the visual arts, SangsangMadang installed a Barco DP2K-12C digital cinema projector in the Cinelab studio. Barco's DP Series projectors are used in most Korean film production studios as a reference projector. They specifically prefer the DP2K-12C because of its outstanding performance and design, which perfectly fits small theaters and post-production environments.

The consistent picture brightness, rich contrast and vibrant colors of the DP2K-12C impressed the experts at Sangsang Madang. Enthusiastic moviemakers now enjoy editing their movies under optimal conditions!
