Bigger, brighter and the most eco-friendly
“It seemed impossible, at first sight,” says Barco LiveDots when looking back upon the request to install a 2,650m2 LED wall on the Absa building in Johannesburg, in barely ten months’ time. Still, the word ‘impossible’ is not in LiveDots’ dictionary. Once the mock-up of the LED display had been approved, the LED manufacturing capacity was multiplied by three to get the display ready on time.
Since March 2013, an impressive high-res LED display, composed of 2,880 TF20 tiles, has been enlightening Johannesburg. Apart from being (one of) the largest installation(s) in the history of Barco LiveDots, it is also an exceptionally ecofriendly display. A great reference beacon for all the partners involved.
