Setting the stage for the wildly popular ‘Premios Juventud’ show 
 
No fewer than 8.8 million viewers from around the US and Hispanic America were in front of their TVs on 17 July 2014 to watch the eleventh edition of the ‘Premios Juventud’ awards ceremony. The combination of a dazzling show, a strong musical line-up, celebrities, interactive voting sessions and ‘a good cause’ have made ‘Premios Juventud’ a wildly popular show since its beginning. For the 2014 edition, which was broadcast live from the University of Miami, US, organisers Univision pulled out all the stops – with the help of broadcasting and media producers Darmah, d3 Technologies and Barco... 

Sharpest Colours, 100% reliable 
Darmah has been working with the Univision media network on a variety of shows, mixing the best of LED and projector technology. When Univision called in its help for the 2014 edition of the popular television show, Darmah suggested using a combination of 16 FLM-HD20 projectors and 500 long MiSTRIP LEDs to bring the stage to live. “We insist on renting out only the most high-quality audiovisual equipment,” says Rodrigo Proal, CEO of Darmah. “The Barco projectors and LED displays ensure the sharpest colors and the highest resolution. At the same time, they are absolutely reliable. Just what we needed to ensure a truly eye-catching stage for the 2014 show.”
