A mobile, networked visualization system to help keep festival-goers safe
How do you ensure the security at a three-day music festival where over 180,000 music lovers gather to party to the beats of the world’s greatest artists, on several stages? In 2015, Barco helped one of the world’s largest music festivals keep their guests safe, by setting up a visualization system in their temporary command center. At the heart of the set-up: Barco’s full, network-centric control room solution. Split over three control rooms, it combined the images and data coming from diverse sources to then create on-the-fly views, distribute these and visualize them. So that everyone involved in security had all eyes on what was happening in the festival grounds.
