The Long March 7, China's exclusively developed next-generation carrier rocket, was successfully launched for the first time from the Hainan Wenchang Satellite Launch Center (WSLC). The rocket, marked “CZ-7”, shot straight into the wild blue yonder along with the long-awaited space dreams of all Chinese people.
Shanghai Golden Bridge InfoTech Co., Ltd. was honored to participate in the construction of the satellite launch center. Two teams were assembled to support the projection initiative, which included large-screen projection of the launch. One team was assigned to Hainan WSLC on standby and to conduct on-site testing, and the other team remained at Aerospace City in Beijing for software testing.
A total of four 20,000-lumen Barco FLM HD20 projectors, and one Barco Encore controller for geometry calibration and edge blending, were used in this project. The stable performance of Barco’s equipment, in conjunction with the professionalism of the Shanghai Golden Bridge engineers performing the on-site inspection and tests, laid a solid foundation for the success of the launch.
Barco would like to take this opportunity to celebrate again the successful maiden launch of Long March 7!
