wePresent is an award-winning wireless presentation system, but what do these technological advancements really mean for your organization? How can users make the most of it in practice? wePresent presentation gateways offer unique and efficient tools, enabling users to have a personalized interaction in digital environments where collaboration is key to success.
1 to Many Projection
Touch screens are becoming increasingly affordable, and in turn, are peppered far more frequently throughout office meeting rooms, training rooms and huddle spaces. wePresent can mirror multiple users on a single screen. The 1 to many function gives users the freedom to share content to different screens either in the same meeting room, or in any other company or educational institute within the wePresent’s network.
Users simply activate the MirrorOp software on their device, select the units they wish to display on, and start sharing. This functionality is especially helpful in work culture utilize huddle spaces and educational environments where the flipped classroom approach to learning and teaching is utilized.
BYOD Made Easy with Webslides
One of the key factors for the success of an interactive and collaborative learning environment is ensuring audience participation. With webslides, the presenter can invite the audience to open their browser, enter the wePresent IP address shown on the standby screen and select the tool. WebSlides allow participants to view presentations in real time, download the original content and presenter annotations seamlessly without the need for additional plug-ins or hardwired connections.
Webslides are especially helpful in BYOD (bring your own device) environments; eliminating the hassle of creating cross-device compatible media files of your presentation.
Conference Control: Indispensable for Teachers and Moderators
Collaborative environments with multiple users sharing content create new challenges for teachers and moderators of meetings. While wePresent encourages multi-user collaboration and interaction, order and rules are still important – especially in a classroom. Conference Control allows the teacher or moderator to choose and control which participants' devices are displayed on the main screen, up to four at the same time. Another option is to moderate the conference through the moderator control panel, which can be operated on any computer, tablet or smartphone.
A teacher can wander the classroom to choose which student will present next, without the need to plug in cables or move devices from place to place. The lock button allows the person controlling the wePresent’s cursor full control of the conference, protecting the presentation of external interruptions – like a mischievous student. Moderator control ensures wePresent systems are being used efficiently for interaction and collaboration when working with multiple presenters.
