Bifrost Cinemascope
The Northern Lights were not an unusual sight for people living in the far North and were a popular theme in folklore and superstition. In old Norse mythology, the northern lights were said to be Bifrost, the bridge between Åsgard and Midgard.
Bifrost Cinemascope is Barco Residential's smallest Cinemascope bezel-less pixel pitch product from the new TruePix product range. But it's not all about pixel pitch, Direct view LED walls is about the source and how the source is delivered from the content player through our new processor before it hit's the panel. This is where Barco Residential is standing out from the crowd. We have developed a completly new processor for our TruePix panels which together with the TP09QScope reproduces a revolutionary viewing experience with an highly dynamic, yet very realistic image.

Perfect Flatness
When the wall frame are installed, the weight rests on specially designed springs. Based on the force of gravity the entire wall will level itself automatically, this results in a completely frictionless structure eliminating all mechanical stress.
Shift Insertion
This is possible because of Barco’s revolutionary automated manufacturing process, where this alignment is automated by Barco developed alignment machine with super tight tolerances.
Coala
Coala or Camara Optimazed Automatic LED Aligner is a new revolutionizing Barco technolgy that we use to align the LED tiles.
Steadyview
The Processing will automatically apply the correct color gamut and EOTF Curve to make sure the colors are represented correctly.
Smart Calibration
With Barco’s new Infinipix® gen2 image processing platform, we have created Steadyview™ to ensure an unmatched viewing experience to avoid any type of flicker.
True Dynamic Range
The Processing bit depth is a measure for the smallest step between black and grey a display can show. Not all displays are showing the content at real 10 or 12 bit, a simple way of testing that, is dimming the display down.

What is TruePix
TruePix is Barco Residential new indoor high-resolution LED platform. The 27,5” inch tiles with a 16:9 aspect ratio range from .9mm to 1.5mm pixel pitch. TruePix brings content to life as intended and ensures predictable, truly seamless visualization, based on smart engineering and the company’s next-generation Infinipix® gen2 image processing platform. which ensures color accuracy and perfect contrast at any brightness level. The self-regulating wall structure and perfectly aligned LED modules offer a perfectly flat wall and uniform image, with seams less than 0.1 mm, the entire video wall lifetime.
