Applicable to

When you connect to a ClickShare Base Unit (in standalone mode) with your mobile device, you can lose your internet connection. This can occur if your mobile device has:

  • No cellular data connection on your mobile device (Eg. iOS or Android tablet)
Note: If you have an active 3G/4G/5G cellular data connection available on your mobile device, make sure to switch it on. This will assist you in staying connected to the internet.
  • Smart Wi-Fi switcher (Android) or Wi-Fi Assist (iOS) functionality is disabled.
Tip: See KB 5454 for the information related to Smart Wi-Fi switcher and Wi-Fi Assist.

Note: This issue does not occur if your Base Unit is network-connected or network integrated. For detailed information on different network integration for ClickShare, please refer to the ClickShare Network Deployment Whitepaper (CS/CSE-series and C/CX-series) available on Barco's website.
