Iceland’s stunning new culture palace features seven Barco projectors
When entering the capital city of Reykjavik (Iceland), it is hard to miss the stunning glass building that sits on the water’s edge, slightly apart from the traditional center. The Harpa Concert Hall and Conference Centre, designed by Henning Larsen Architects and Olafur Eliasson, boasts a kaleidoscopic façade made of more than 10,000 glass windows and perfectly blends art with architecture.
Inside, the building features the best equipped concert halls and performance areas to present a broad mix of programming and conferences. Long-term Barco distributor Exton was contracted to equip the halls with state-of-the-art equipment including seven Barco projectors, to meet every need.
