Once a year, YouTube pulls out all the stops to showcase its unique programming line-up and original content in a big way, giving advertisers a glimpse of its loyal audience of amateur video creators at a spectacular event called YouTube Brandcast. For the 2013 show, the internet’s largest video sharing website chose the theme “community” to convey the primarily user-driven nature of the site’s content. Held in the spring at Basketball City at Pier 36 in New York City, the event played to more than 1,500 marketers, agencies and content partners in attendance.

Good Sense & Company masterminded the production, commissioning the talents of WorldStage to create a large split-screen, in addition to seven LED columns on each side of the mainstage to broadcast graphics and video. This event marked the largest rental installation of Barco LiveDots C5 ever commissioned. Eight hundred Barco LiveDots C5 LED tiles were used for the main wall, measuring 68.2’ x 19.7’, and an additional 700+ tiles were used in various configurations.
